Will no longer be mandated from 11.59 Monday 4th April. Individual businesses can choose to continue to utilise these. Ethos café will no longer require vaccine passes.
Remains critical across Aotearoa and are still required to be used throughout the Mission, businesses. and in vehicles.
From 11.59 25th March QR Scanning will no longer be required and signage can be removed from across the Mission. Do not delete your apps on your phones as this requirement may change in the future if other variants arise.
Education, Police and Defence staff – vaccination mandates will no longer be required from 4th April.
Corrections, Aged Care and Boarder Controls staff will remain mandated – high risk and work with vulnerable people.
Health care will also remain mandated, as this is a large varied sector this may be narrowed to become more specific.
Individual business and companies mandates will remain the decision of those businesses.
The Mission will continue to uphold the current Mandate – Vaccinations are required for all staff.
Traffic Light / Protection Frame work
We remain in RED Setting – changes to this setting will be as follows:
Gatherings indoors can increase from 100 to 200 people, hospitality sector must maintain seated and separated rules.
All outdoor gatherings will resume with no limits. These will resume from 11.59 25th March.
We will move from the red setting when it is deemed safe to do so.
ORANGE- there are no capacity limits, masks still required , larger events with over 500 people to add extra capacity or provide seating.
GREEN – is still a long way off – no changes
We still need to be vigilant, as of the 22nd March Waikato have 10,669 active cases in the community, 79 in Hospital, 1 in ICU.
