Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is based at Te Ara Hou Village and is spiritually guarded by Anglican Action.

Formerly known as The Friary of The Divine Compassion, The Sanctuary offers an expansive building with spaces for various practices away from the day-to-day activities of everyday life.

 

The Sanctuary is available to all. Please contact Anglican Action for more information about The Sanctuary. 

Breathing

&

Mindfullness

The Sanctuary facilitates breathing and mindfulness sessions for the staff of Anglican Action on a regular basis, as well as the people we work with.

Massage

Homeopathy

The Sanctuary also provides spaces for traditional massage as well as Tongan massage therapy sessions.

Alongside this, homeopathy and shiatsu therapy sessions are also available.

Retreats

Waananga

The Sanctuary holds space for spiritual retreats that staff of Anglican Action participate in. These are lead and facilitated by spiritual leaders and provide an opportunity of wellbeing for staff.

Waananga are also facilitated on-site at The Sanctuary. This provides a space that is removed, peaceful and allows for focus.
